DRIFTA 8
I got a chance to build a Drifta 8 this winter, right out of the Surfers Journal. A customer saw the Drifta 8 article in SJ and wanted this board. It was an excellent oppurtunity for me to learn about boards that were precursors to the thruster. It also gave me a lot of respect for the airbrush artists painting boards at this time. This board features a single fin box and glass on side bites that are right on the first wing and very close to the rail. Oh and these things rip!!
